NLE is a stress-free place to learn to ride. We have excellent beginner horses to teach you to control a horse, not just be a passenger on a 1,000 lb animal, in a safe & relaxed atmosphere. We specialize in helping beginners and non-beginners from seven to seventy get started (or re-started) on the right foot with horses safely and enjoyably.
Beginner through advance level horseback riding lessons are available. Lessons available for ages 6 years old and up. Younger riders will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
All lessons are prepaid monthly, $55 on a school horse or $50 on your own horse. More information on lessons and pay as you go options are available in the file below. All lessons include learning horsemanship which includes grooming and tacking.
Lessons are held six days a week, Monday through Saturday. Alternate days and times available by appointment only. To schedule your lesson call Maggie Yash at 248-343-0504 or Emily Osantowske at 586-260-9022 email Never Limit EQ at neverlimiteq@gmail.com.
Lessons are group format and last about one hour long. First time riders and beginners are advised to take a private lesson, which lasts about 30 minutes.
Lessons take place outdoors as much as possible when weather allows it. Indoor arena available for inclement weather and winter lessons.
All riders should arrive at the barn about 30 minutes before the lesson time to care and tack the horse. Lessons include horsemanship as well as riding. Horsemanship is how to get the horse ready for riding, how to tack a horse, and how to care for a horse after riding. During warm weather, riders may wash horses and take them out for grazing. Riders should bring a water bottle, as the barn has well water that is very salty!
